Vintage Sunburst is a creative studio led by Jonathan Shue, a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and creative leader. His background includes professional performance, original works, higher education teaching, and creative strategy for large-scale educational initiatives. We work with artists, educators, and organizations to build meaningful artistic experiences.
Vintage Sunburst includes a constellation of imprints that support different parts of our creative work, from live performance to recorded music, publishing, and written projects. Each imprint reflects a part of the studio’s identity and helps us release work with focus and care.
Vintage Sunburst Productions is the home for performance work. It includes original stage pieces, concerts, and collaborative projects that grow out of Jonathan’s background in acting and music. This imprint contains the part of the studio that lives in rehearsal rooms, theatres, and shared creative spaces.
Earth Coast Records is a small, artist-centered label for recorded music. It supports albums, singles, demos, and studio projects that come from Jonathan’s songwriting life. This imprint gives recorded work a place to land, whether it is a full release or projects for smaller circles.
Steamroller Music Publishing is the home for Jonathan’s songwriting and composition catalog. It includes lead sheets, arrangements, licensing, and the written side of his music. This imprint keeps the catalog organized and ready for future performances and projects.
Osteon Press is the imprint for books, written work, and future publications. It supports teaching resources, small-run projects, and writing that grows out of Jonathan’s work in the arts. This imprint leaves room for new written projects as they develop.
As the studio moves forward, Vintage Sunburst is developing new work across performance, music, and education — including future recordings, original creative projects, and evolving program ideas. These ongoing efforts reflect the studio’s commitment to meaningful, long‑term creative growth.
Vintage Sunburst’s work grows from the creative life of its founder and reflects the projects, collaborations, and ideas that continue to shape the studio.
